I started cycling 15 years ago for the exercise.
Motto: Slow and steady is the way to go.
I now spend a lot of time on the trail as a volunteer.
I like to travel as well, normally by car but for the long distances I will fly.
This afternoon I went out on the skis, a bit of light snow in the air when I started.
But the sun was trying to peek out a little, cool at -6 with no wind.
By the GPS this hill is 8 meters high, the first time down breaking track I was doing 15 km/h but on the third run I was up to 20 km/h. I was out for a hour and 40 minutes and traveled 7 km. I make better time on the skis than on the snowshoes.
